These plates have been available since before WW II and were used here until the late 1960's or early 1970's
Measurements
Oblong - 21 in long by 5 in high with 3 ½ in digits, with or without a Bead. These plates can of course be made shorter if the
registration number has fewer digits.
Square Vintage Number Plates
These can vary, from car to car, but the usual size is any of the following, 14in, 13 in, 12 in, 11 in long by approx 9¼ in high, these
measurements are only a guide, so care must be taken to ensure what looks best. With or without the " Bead "
We supply very good quality Domed Chrome bolts for fitting, when these plates were fitted here they were fitted with Gutter
bolts on some cars.!!!!!!!!
